The Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival is uniting tens of thousands of people across the country to challenge the evils of systemic racism, poverty, the war economy, ecological devastation and the nation’s distorted morality. The campaign carries forward the vision that Martin Luther King Jr. was striving toward in the original Poor People's Campaign in 1968 when he was assassinated.

On May 13th, the campaign began 40 days of moral action to launch a multi-year movement to make justice and equality a reality for all. So far, over 1700 people have been arrested across more than 30 states, making this the largest, most expansive American campaign of nonviolent civil disobedience of the 21st century. Yet, so far, major mainstream and corporate media have barely covered the historic campaign. It's time for that to change.

On Monday, June 18th, we will come together again to bring our demands to state capitols and the US Capitol with nonviolent moral fusion direct action, building toward a mass rally on the National Mall on Saturday, June 23rd. Let's spread the word to build this moral movement and make sure that major media are paying attention as we move forward together.
