Urge Congress to pass the Keep Families Together Act (S. 3036) to prohibit the separation of children from their parents.
S. 3036—the Keep Families Together Act—can stop the inhumane practice of taking children away from their parents who are trying to enter the United States—and the NAACP supports and urges its immediate enactment
What You Can Do to Help
27 states allow juvenile sex trafficking victims to be arrested and prosecuted for prostitution offenses. Punishing survivors creates social and legal contradictions that undermine both national and local efforts to end the commercial sexual exploitation of children in the U.S. A punitive response exasperates the harm that youth survivors experience and prevents states from delivering comprehensive services, protection, and care.
The Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival is uniting tens of thousands of people across the country to challenge the evils of systemic racism, poverty, the war economy, ecological devastation and the nation’s distorted morality. The campaign carries forward the vision that Martin Luther King Jr. was striving toward in the original Poor People's Campaign in 1968 when he was assassinated.
We can not stand by and see our democracy destroyed, our allies made enemies and the worlds dictators complemented. NK is a human rights violator. This is not ok. Our checks and balances have failed. Mueller will take years which we don’t have. We are losing freedoms every day. The world powers are being changed. We must stand up and fight for what is right even if it is uncomfortable for us. The world is watching and waiting for us to do something.

World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) on June 15th every year is an opportunity to raise awareness about elder abuse, why it occurs, and what we can do to stop it.
ADD YOUR VOICE TO END ALZHEIMER’S!

NCDs are the #1 cause of death and disability worldwide.
NCDs – mainly cancer, cardiovascular disease, chronic respiratory diseases, and diabetes account for 70 percent of global mortality; 80 percent of premature deaths from NCDs occur in low- and middle-income countries, and everywhere they disproportionately impact the most vulnerable people. Many NCDs are preventable - no person should have to endure avoidable suffering.
