Gun Control has been a polarizing topic in United States politics over the past decades. The debate between gun rights and gun control advocates is fiercely fought, often relying on only a small set of arguments.
Supporters of the right to possess firearms, as well as some conservative politicians often argue that arming citizens and abolishing gun-free zones will lead to decreases in violent crime, which is not TRUE!
Every single year, more than 32,000 Americans have their lives cut short by guns -- 30,000. Suicides. Domestic violence. Gang shootouts. Accidents.
Hundreds of thousands of Americans have lost brothers and sisters, or buried their own children. Many have had to learn to live with a disability, or learned to live without the love of their life.
We demand morally-just leaders to rise up from both parties in order to ensure FAIR public safety.
Our first task as a society is to keep our children safe, Recent actions of the NRA demonstrate not only a disregard for the lives of black and brown people in America, but appear to be a direct endorsement of violence against women, our families and our communities for exercising our constitutional right to protest.
National March on NRA is created by, inspired by, and led by young people of all ethnicities, religions, and sexualities across the country.
