The military parade was cancelled but the wars continue. In place of the protest, we are holding a Peace Congress to End U.S. Wars at Home and Abroad in Washington, DC on Saturday, Nov. 10 from 9 am to 5 pm. This will be structured as a General Assembly so that all can participate. We will begin the day with a panel on the current environment and opportunities and challenges for building a broader and stronger movement that connects militarism at home and abroad and the impacts of the war economy. This is an historic opportunity for peace and justice movements to come together.
