Facing a President who denies the reality of climate change, and openly attacks women, people of color, immigrants, Muslims, people with disabilities, LGBTQ community, workers and so many more, we need to act together and make it clear that we will not stand for any attempts to undermine the fight for justice.

Climate change represents the one percent of the economy’s most serious assault on working people and the environment in America and all across the World. As working people we have always been treated as disposable items in the calculation of profit.

The People’s Climate Movement recognizes these links; and asks us to come together to demand that social, economic and environmental Justice be won Together and Now.

We did not create this mess.
We are not going to pay for it.
And, yes, We are the Solution.

Join us on March 20th as we bring together District, Maryland and Virginia residents including faith, labor, student, environmental justice communities to kick off the DC area mobilization for climate, jobs and justice.

We will also talk about how art and culture intersect with our movement, and how we can use those things to move us forward. Lastly, we’ll teach you how to volunteer with PCM, and talk more about how to be a part of the movement.

CONFIRMED SPEAKERS:

Eugene Puryear, Justice First
Angela Adrar, Climate Justice Alliance:
Xavier Brown, Soilful City
Aiyi’nah Ford, The Future Foundation
Rev. Graylan Halger, Plymouth UCC
Judith Howell, SEIU 32BJ
